The First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Baker City was founded in 1921. Services were first held in the library in the basement of the Crossroad's Carnegie Art Center, eventually moving to our current building.

     First Lutheran Church is an Evangelical Lutheran, also known as Evangelical Catholic church. Our teachings come from the founder of the Reformation and originator of Lutheranism, Martin Luther.
